There's not a whole lot I can say about this, although one must wonder what the young lady actually thinks her shirt says. She is, however, the only one in the picture for whom the shirt's message would be accurate. Marcus and DN teammate Sam Donnellon obviously worked hard in Beijing during the Olympics. Which one of you gents is married to the niece of the Irish author Declan Hughes? I've just spent some time in Ireland hanging out with some of that country's fine crime writers, and I was gobsmacked when Hughes not only had heard of my blog but said his niece was married to someone on my softball team. Trouble is, I don't remember if the nephew-in-law was Donnell or Donlen.
